Once upon a time with.........A......
We went to Carousel to celebrate our 2nd year Anniversary.
Decided to dine at Carousel because the spread has our favourite.... his oyster and my cheese.
Well..... we started off with the Seafood section...
Seriously.... it was really good.. the picks were so fresh and the vast variety surely satisfy a seafood lover.
with crayfish, oyster, scallop, mussel, crab ..... that's about it.... well a goldfish memory me might not remember correctly.
went on to the japanese section.... whacking on tonns of salmon salmon salmon.. totally is a shiok can!
take and take and take.. the feeling is awesome! hahaha..
putting with tint of my favourite wasabi, it is no doubt a perfect match. !
not forgeting that along the same stretch.. the fried rice is really delicious. fried with japanese rice.. how can such a simple dish taste so yummY!
now to the entree section. ranging from international to oriental and indian cuisine.
not a fan of indian food so i have no comment on that.
munching away with mostly international foodies though.
overall the spread is wide and the taste is good..
finally......... i can't wait.... to my cheese...
greedy me took too much and i CAN"T FINISH!!!
A still ask me "why you take so much? you can finish meh?"
giving him my most confident stare, i replied back saying " Ya Can la Can la"!!
I'm so wrong and he is so right... he was mocking me through!
wheeee. ... next we proceed on to dessert. my love too.
the dessert spread was not stingy.. you can also choose from internation and oriental.
I was so thrilled upon seeing the yam paste.. but with great anticipation and as a dessert gourmet..
the yam paste is too dry.. it lack of the layer of oil.. you know the oil is the essence of a yam paste!!
my favourite dessert is actually the........... i don't know.. infact i like all of it la!
just don't really like the carrot cake and the cup cake.
the creme brulee was pretty good.. though not the best i have tasted!
oh man.... this really make me miss the creme brulee that i ate in PARIS!! sob! sob!
Next on the human touch... the service staff was really good, attentive, friendly and nice.
As a service provider myself, im really glad that we still have such a service in Singapore.... which I feel is lacking in the human warmth slowly. the eyes are only the $$$ sign or ME ME ME! .
Overall experience was great. big smile on me!
