[x]. WElla it's New York City

HELLO! It's New York City Again! Wella~~

This time round, I decided to head off to The New York  Public Library.
Did some googling and highlighted some places of attraction in New York.
Thus, the places are best represented by my pictures.

Lost my way several times and it was really damn tiring.
In Singapore, we shop shopping mall and is shop beside shop and storey after one storey.
But in New York, it is one street after another street and each shops are HUGE.

Fifth avenue
is a must go and u can really spend half a day there or even a whole day if you
have a list of TO-Buys.

The Forever 21 at Time Square is a god damn 4 storey high. All the accessories are dirt cheap.
Well im not really an accessories person, I only buy it when I have need clothes and needed some
addition "add-ons". haaa.

Herald Square is ONE of a shopping area. You can find another Forever 21, H&M, Zara, Macy's, Sephora, Victoria Secret (currently under renovation), Steve Madden, Aldo, Aeropostales, Old Navy.... and the list goes on.

One thing i love going to Herald Square is that i get to eat PinkBerry Yoghurt and eating Paris Baguette.

I present you The New York Public Library......

Forget to check the opening hours and i was too early for the day. The library open at 10am but i was already there preparing for some books at 9am. CRAP!~

The overview of the whole building.

Settle down with some Argo Tea. I was deadbeat with all the walking. Walking from the library to my next destination. Like Seriously, im damn proud of myself. No map, just my Samsung Galaxy S3 and leeching on the Starbucks AT&T wifi. That's why i love New York. Everywhere there is a saviour!! STARBUCK i love you okay!!?

The decor of the Argo Tea House. They sell all sort of tea. I ordered a Red Tea. Taste like Rooibus to me. Well if i have excess time and money i will go there again.
Guess my next destination that i wanna show you guys.

It's getting nearer...........................
 It's pretty isn't it.
Excitement can. I guess i have a fetish for many things. Including cute and unique architecture and buildingss.

Melting under the sun. The sun too warm my heart suppressing my joy!!!

Triangular Buidling.. it is called.....

Flatiron building!!!

Know a little bit more of it..........

The Flatiron Building (or Fuller Building, as it was originally called) is located at 175 Fifth Avenue in the Borough of Mahattan, NYC and is considered to be a groundbreaking skyscrapper. The Flatiron Building was designed by Chicago's Daniel Burnham and upon completion in 1902, it was one of the tallest buildings in the city and the only skyscraper north of 14th Streett. The building sits on a triangular island-block formed by Fifth Avenue, Broadway and East 22nd Street, with 23rd Street ,  grazing the triangle's northern (uptown) peak. As with numerous other wedge-shaped buildings, the name "Flatiron" derives from its resemblance to a cast-iron clothes-iron.

[x]. Share a little history

The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. It connects the boroughs of Mahattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River. With a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m), it was the longest suspension bridge in the world from its opening until 1903, and the first steel-wire suspension bridge.

By the time it was finished in 1883, the bridge had cost about $15 million, more than twice what John Roebling who is a German immigrant  had originally estimated. And while no official figures were kept on how many men died building the bridge, it has been reasonably estimated that about 20 to 30 men perished in various accidents.

The grand opening for the bridge was held on May 24, 1883

My Wasabi Ramen is on the right hand side. Audrey order some choyu with additional poached egg.
Saw alot of patrons actually order "kong ba bao". (in hokkien). I think is a delicacy to them, a way of having collagen in their diet.
